Documenting & Serving Africa’s Diverse Food Culture, One Dish At A Time!
Magriza is slang for uGogo (Grandmother in isiNdebele) and the name of the brand is derived from Prince’s inspiration towards food, culture, and travelling; His Grandmother. The brand’s mission is to chronicle and promote the uniqueness of African cuisine, culture, and traditions. Based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, the main belief encapsulating the show is that Africans must take an active part in chronicling their history, traditions, and experiences.

Your passion for learning really shows in every video you post guys, thank you for taking us along Zimbabwe is really rich in culture.
This channel is an impressive repository of Zimbabwean arts and culture. If we had a national film archive, I would strongly recommend that these films be preserved for all eternity there, for the benefit of posterity. The content here is a deep dive into into the often unacknowledged parts of our cultural existence. Thank you for this. I lack the words to full express my gratitude for your efforts. I suppose this is what Stendhal syndrome feels like...
I love your content, it adds to my spiritual/cultural awakening. I'm so grateful to have come across your channel at this particular point in my life. Thokoza

I don't need history textbooks. I just need this channel!
